welcome to Bratislava, Slovakia

One of my favorite places and a big metropolitan town. Great buildings both very old and very new. You can also see what buildings were under communistic rebuilding and the pains that it took to restore from the grey old façade. It is a blend of many cultures and language although it was officially part of the Euro system and union as of Jan. 1 2009. So much to see and so little time Not too far from Roland Fountain - which was put in after a tragic fire had destroyed the town and have water sources close by - you can find the worker peeping out of the manhole.
