Bath in Budapest

After making an appointment for a thai massage (which was the only schedule open as the Swedish massage were booked.), we headed to the spa….which included an outdoor wave pool (too cold for me) and an indoor pool (still too cold for me) and the hot tub…Danielle got chased down by the cap police as we had to wear caps in the pool. Souvenir cap - $7! I found the steam room on the other side of the building…another two hot tubs and it quickly It
was time to go for the Thai massage. The massage – Really! We booked the thai massage with oil. On the floor they said – really? How can I get up.? Naked or wear a paper g string – Really? Lying naked on the thin mat I felt like a beached whale. My two companions were hidden behind curtain 1 and 2 – thank god I had the one next to the wall. (I could roll to me knees and crawl up the wall to get up) No chair or anything ! LOL. The first thing the small oriental lady did was to walk on my back…really? She rubbed and pulled and rubbed some more. Then I was told to sit up indian style – really? (she did not speak English so that was fun communicating). She did a lot of laughing – at me I am sure! After I finally sat up after 50 minutes of beating, she beat me some more – on my back and shoulders. OK now nice and greasy, time to get dressed and go! But believe it or not I felt better, my knees didn’t hurt and I was full of energy
