On Board MS Maximus and the Captains Reception

All Aboard for Tea time - orientation and safety briefing and off to Austria from Passau, Germany. Music and Dance Quiz - thought our team did well...but didn't win. (even though I made a fool of myself dancing every dance for extra credit!) Next night Captains reception -lots of Champaign.! That was after I almost burned down the ship! Yes...while others were in Salzburg I was heating up curling iron and reading in my room. Thank goodness I was in the room. I smelled burning rubber and notice my iron had melted all over the counter. I hated to make my introduction to the staff by yelling FIRE! LOL. Wrong converter! ugh. bad hair day for the cruise! LOL. And then I almost went over board - as you see in the pics - I was leaning against the gate that was not locked all the way!
