The Budapest Market

We quickly made it back to the market area just before closing time and it is fantastic…. three floors of food and souvenirs. And in the basement – Aldis. ! We were hungry and were going to miss the 3 pm escorted walk back to the ship but met the surgeon from North Dakota and his wife and retiring administrator. He heard about a restaurant close by and we followed him. A very tall women in a swiss outfit came to visit us at our table …the food was Hungarian – I ordered duck…it took a while to be served but the food was fabulous and plenty of it…I didn’t hardly touch the sides of cabbage casserole and spaetzli. Only $7!
